Greater Rochester International Airport - ROC

There are five different lots at Greater Rochester International Airport. The airport offers free parking in their short term lot for people who park for thirty minutes or less. Otherwise, they do strive to keep rates as low as possible. Those needing the most convenient parking options should head to the Valet Parking station on the upper level roadway. Valet parking charges a flat rate of $12 per day plus a one-time service charge of $20. Valet Parking can be paid by credit card only.

Long Term Parking

Long-Term Parking is found in the "Orange Lot." Here the rates are $3.50 for up to two hours plus an additional $2 per hour with a maximum of $12 per day. The Green Lot is also available for those who will be parking for more than 24 hours. In the Green Lot, rates are $10.50 per day or $50 per week. Shuttles do not travel to these parking lots, so those using them must be prepared to walk across the street to the terminal.

Discount Airport Parking

There are two economy lots. Both are located a short distance from the terminals and free shuttles run regularly from the parking lots to the terminal. Both lots charge by the day, not the hour. The Yellow Lot is located out behind the Greet Lot and costs $6 per day. The Red Lot is the farthest from the airport and costs $4.50 per day.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped travelers will do best to call their airline in advance to help plan their trip. Bathrooms in Greater Rochester International Airport are handicapped accessible, but not all garages are. Using valet parking is usually the easiest for handicapped travelers because they can get out of their car right at the terminal and let someone else find available handicapped parking spots. Upon returning, the valet will have the driver's car ready to go right outside of the baggage claim area on the lower roadway level.

Airport Hotel Parking

Airport hotels offering parking packages are often the best choice for those who need inexpensive parking. Travelers can overnight either before or after their trip and park their car for a set number of days in the hotel's parking area. Fairfield Inn is located right on the airport grounds and offers park and fly packages for up to 21 days of free parking. Comfort Inn Rochester International Airport also offers packages with 21 days of parking. These hotels also offer free airport shuttles to and from the terminal.
