Public/Ground Transfer

Kona International Airport offers several ground transportation options. Bus service is available, and airline passengers can receive transportation to various locations, including area hotels. Buses are located outside the Main Terminal hall curbside adjacent to baggage claim. Advance reservations are recommended. Ground transportation personnel can assist guests with travel arrangements.

If staying at a nearby hotel, contact the hotel and request a complimentary pick-up or drop-off. Several hotels within vicinity of Kona International Airport offer courtesy pick-up and drop-off to registered guests. Taxi Services

Numerous taxicab services are on-hand at Kona International Airport. Meter rates apply, and guests can receive transfer to different locations on the island. If necessary, request a taxi van, which can comfortably accommodate up to nine passengers. Taxicabs are located outside the terminal hall in the curbside pick-up zones.
