Car Rental

Six rental car companies provide on-site service at Harrisburg International Airport. Companies include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. Payless rental car is located off-site. Rental car facilities are located adjacent to the Main Terminal hall on the first floor of the Multi-Modal Transportation Facility. Advance reservations are recommended.

Public/Ground Transfer

Capital Area Transit System offers bus service to and from Harrisburg International Airport. Buses are available Monday through Friday between 6 am and 8 pm, and Saturdays between 7 am and 6 pm. Public bus service is not available on Sundays. Ground transportation personnel can help with exact bus schedules, routes, and fares.

Airport Shuttles

Many hotels in the Harrisburg International Airport vicinity provide courtesy pick-up and drop-off. Hotel phones are located in baggage claim, and guests can contact their hotel directly and request a shuttle. Free pick-up is only available to registered hotel guests. In addition, the airport provides a free shuttle that transfers guests between the terminal hall and airport parking lots.

Limousine Services

If you don't want to drive to the airport, or don't want to pay an expensive taxi fare, schedule a pick-up or drop-off with a limousine company. Several limo companies service the airport, and often times, limo service is cheaper than a taxicab. Limousine companies charge hourly rates, and you can choose from a wide selection of available vehicles.

Taxi Services

Taxicab service is available outside baggage claim in the center lane of the parking garage on level one. Taxis provide continuous service 24 hours a day, and provide transportation to local hotels, businesses, and residential communities. Accessible vehicles include standard taxicab or larger taxicab van. Meter rates apply.
