Car Rental

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport offers nine rental car booths located inside the Main Terminal. Five companies have on-site cars. These include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National. Rental cars for Advantage, Dollar, Enterprise, and Thrifty are located off-site. Courtesy vans are available to transport passengers to and from off-site rental car locations.

Public/Ground Transfer

Two public metro lines service Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Metro Transit bus services are available outside baggage claim 5 on the lower level. Single fare is $1.25 - $2.00 one way, which is cheaper than a taxicab. Sound Transit bus fare is based on zones and range from $1.50 - $3.00

Airport Shuttles

Several shuttle companies service Seattle-Tacoma International. Shuttles operate continuously and reservations are not required. Shared ride shuttles charge a flat fee per passenger and are available throughout the pick-up and drop-off zones of the terminal buildings. Airport shuttles offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to off-site parking lots. Passengers can access shuttles on the lower level outside baggage claim.

Limousine Services

Travelers can arrange for a limousine in the parking garage on level 3 at the ground transportation booth. Limo services charge a flat one-way rate for stretch limousines and town car sedans. Airport limousine services drive passengers to any location (home, business, hotel, etc.) A fuel surcharge is added to the limo fare.

Taxi Services

Taxicabs are available in the parking garage on level 3. Travelers can arrange for a taxicab 24 hours a day. Large groups can arrange for a taxicab van in advance, or use the curbside phone in baggage claim to request a passenger van. Taxicab rates vary. Some cab companies charge a flat rate per zone, meter rate, or per passenger rate.
