There is also one of Japan's three most celebrated landscape gardens, called Kairaku-en which is both famous and popular for cherry blossoms in late February. (0905YS) The hotel appears to be like a castle in the forest. It is a modern white building with 5 storeys. This beautiful hotel is in Mito, north of Tokyo, amidst leafy, peaceful surroundings. It takes about 1 hour from Ueno Station in Tokyo by express train to Mito Station, and then a taxi from Mito Station to the hotel.
