Soak Up the Sun on South Beach
South Beach is one of the most popular beach destinations in the United States and even celebrities flock there to see and be seen sunbathing on the hot sand. South Beach is located near many of Miami’s top hotels and exclusive stores, so a day at the beach can turn into a day trip for shopping, fine dining, and getting the perfect tan. Visiting South Beach will give you the opportunity to dip your toes into the Atlantic Ocean and see some of the most beautiful people in the world as they show off their toned bodies and fashionable swimwear.
Experience Outdoor Shopping at Bayside Marketplace
Bayside Marketplace is a Miami attraction that combines everything all in one place – dining, shopping, and live entertainment. If shopping’s your pleasure, stroll through the marketplace and stop to see live parrots and snakes along the way. Live entertainment ranges from solo acts to full musical groups and is the perfect accompaniment to a meal at one of Bayside’s many restaurants. The restaurants include Latin American, Italian, and good old American fare and have something for every palate. Bayside Marketplace is conveniently located near many of Downtown Miami’s major hotels and attractions.

View Incredible Animals at the Miami Metrozoo
Miami’s warm weather and frequent sunshine make not only a great destination for beachgoers, but the perfect setting for a zoo. Miami’s Metrozoo is able to keep a number of animals from Asia, South America, and Australia that cannot be kept by zoos in colder climates. The Metrozoo also has a number of common animals including giraffes, gazelles, ducks, rhinos, and turkeys. If birds are your thing, there’s an aviary that shows off a variety of birds from all areas of the world.

Family Fun at the Miami Children’s Museum
While the beaches and nightclubs of Miami can make the perfect vacation, they’re not exactly kid-friendly. Enter the Miami Children’s Museum, where kids of all ages can participate in interactive exhibits and learn while having fun at the same time. One of the Museum’s highlights include the Castle of Dreams, where kids can climb through a large castle and see different types of sand from all over the world. Another attraction is The Bank, an exhibit that allows kids to walk through a piggy bank and learn all about making, spending, and saving money.

“Hang Around” at Monkey Jungle
Monkey Jungle is a primate-lovers dream attraction. Instead of viewing monkeys through glass cages or from several feet away in a zoo environment, Monkey Jungle allows you to get up close and personal with these animals. Visitors to Monkey Jungle walk on designated walkways while monkeys are able to jump around and swing from place to place above and to the sides of each walkway. Getting this close to these animals is a unique opportunity and both adults and children can take advantage at Monkey Jungle.
